The weekend before Valentine's Day can be a stressful time for last-minute shoppers, which is why some gamers will need a nice distraction in the form of Xur in "Destiny." The mysterious merchant dealing in exotic items and engrams opened for business Friday at 5 a.m. EST. Xur shuts down at 5 a.m. Sunday, so there's still plenty of time to get a special gift for your loved one.
Xur can be found in the Tower, but it requires a bit of a walk to find the Agent of the Nine this weekend in "Destiny." Heading to the left side of the tower, traverse through a few corridors and into an open courtyard. Xur can be found by the edge overlooking the city. Like last week, Xur has a bit of something for everyone. The Thunderlord gun may not have been everyone's favorite weapon of choice, but there was plenty of variety from the merchant.

- Leg Armor: Radiant Dance Machines (Hunter)
- Helmet: The Stag (Warlock)
- Weapon: Suros Regime (Auto Rifle)

The Immolation Fists work well for "Destiny" players who enjoy PvP or have a Solarbreaker Titan. The Radiant Dance Machines, in addition to having a great name, could also be a good pickup for PvP players. The Suros Regime is still a great weapon even after a few changes in Year 2, according to "Destiny" Players.
Looking ahead, Bungie is set to roll out Crimson Days, it's Valentine's Day event. Prior to its release, Bungie announced a big update Thursday that will coincide with Crimson Days. Patch 2.1.1 features many changes that could affect a player in "Destiny." During certain matches, a player will not start with Special Ammo in the attempt to balance the gameplay at the start of a match. This will affect PvP playlists Skirmish, Salvage and Elimination. For those who like flying solo, there are now Freelance 6v6 and 3v3 playlists. No Fireteams are allowed in these matches.
