After missing his limousine, and having a hard time finding a hotel, the last thing President Donald Trump needed was another handshake incident. But that’s exactly what he got Thursday when the first lady of Poland left Trump hanging.

Trump visited Poland ahead of the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany where he gave a speech to the Polish people and held a press conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda. In a welcome during the day, both leaders and their wives went to shake hands and Duda’s wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda, went for a big welcome for the first lady of the United States, Melania Trump, and left Donald Trump’s hand hanging. She did swing back to him after and shake his hand.

Kornhauser-Duda is a high school teacher in Poland’s second largest city Kraków she teaches German there. She met her husband when they attended Jagiellonian University. They married in 1994 and together they have one child.

Trump is no stranger to odd handshakes.

Earlier this year Trump had an awkwardly long hand shake with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, it lasted 19 seconds and caused an eye-roll reaction from Abe.

After the announcement of Supreme Court Judge pick Neil Gorsuch, Trump used his signature pull-in technique where he quickly yanked Gorsuch’s hand towards several times in rapid succession.

Picking up on the style world leaders like Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada braced for impact leaning into Trump to avoid having his hand yanked.

French President Emmanuel Macron turned the handshake into an exercise on power play

“My handshake with him, it's not innocent,” Macron told the Journal du Dimanche in an interview in May. “It's not the alpha and the omega of politics, but a moment of truth.”

Macron wasn’t pulled into Trump and he also didn’t let go.

Then there was the non-handshake with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Photographers called for the two to shake hands when they met and Trump didn’t hear the requests or ignored them.

Trump’s last European trip included another video of being left hanging, but it was Melania who was the perpetrator. When the president went to grab his wife’s hand in Israel, she can be seen swatting it away.
