Who Is Christina El Moussa Dating? Gary Anderson Consoled ‘Flip Or Flop’ Star After Bizarre Fight With Tarek, Report Says

“Flip or Flop” star Christina moved on from her estranged husband, Tarek, with Gary Anderson. Interestingly, Anderson was there during the explosive May 29 fight where Tarek took a gun into the woods, TMZ reported Thursday.

Anderson is a contractor who reportedly did work for the El Moussa’s, an insider told TMZ. He was at a neighbor’s house when the fight began. He then came to the El Moussa’s home to comfort Christina. He was also the witness who told police he saw Tarek run out the back of his house and onto a hiking trail. Anderson also added that Christina was “shaking and crying.”

Authorities responded to “a call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun.” Eleven cop cars and a helicopter were dispatched to find Tarek. Police removed five firearms, including an AR-15 assault rifle, from the home. They were returned to Tarek after 30 days.

There was no cheating, though. Anderson’s relationship with Christina did not become romantic until months after the incident, TMZ added.

“We decided to separate while we reevaluated the next steps in our married life,” the couple told People Magazine Wednesday. “We believed this was in the best interests of the children and the best way to determine a path forward.”

They were open about dating outside their marriage. “We have both dated other people following the separation, but neither of us is ready to announce anything in terms of another relationship,” they said.

“Flip or Flop” has not been canceled. “We admire and appreciate Tarek and Christina's great work on ‘Flip or Flop,’” HGTV said in an official statement Monday. “When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children. HGTV is currently airing episodes of ‘Flip or Flop’ and the series will continue production as scheduled.”
