Actress Dakota Johnson only recently became a household name, and now her longtime boyfriend, fellow actor Jordan Masterson, is also stepping into the spotlight.

While Johnson will soon star in the film adaption of “Fifty Shades of Grey” as Christian Grey’s (“Sons of Anarchy” star Charlie Hunnam) love interest Anastasia Steele, the 23-year-old is reportedly shacking up with Masterson in real life. So just who is the Texas native’s off-screen love interest? According to his IMDB page, he, like Johnson, has had a long career in the entertainment industry, starring in as Mark in the hit 2005 film “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” and a recurring role as Ryan in the ABC sitcom “Last Man Standing.” The 27-year-old actor has also starred in guest roles in multiple series including “Greek,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “7th Heaven” and “CSI: Miami.”

The Daily Mail reported Tuesday that Masterson also is a member of the controversial Church of Scientology and reportedly hails from a “high-profile Scientology family.” According to the report, Masterson and his sister Alanna, a close friend of Johnson, have belonged to the religious organization since childhood. Te siblings' father, former Australian rugby player Joe Reachie, 55, revealed that he hasn’t spoken to his children in nine years after being excommunicated for defying the hierarchy.

Johnson has yet to publicly address her relationship with Johnson, only once commenting that she was a taken woman during an October 2012 interview. “I have a boyfriend that I’ve been with for a while,” said said. “I’ve only been in long-term relationships. I’ve never really dated myself.”

Earlier this month, the author of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” series, E.L. James, confirmed that Johnson had snagged one of the highly coveted roles in the adaption. “Good moaning all. Hold on to your hats… I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaption of Fifty Shades of Grey,” James said on Twitter Sep 2. “The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnan will be Christian Grey," she later added.

While Johnson will soon start filming the “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy, Masterson’s next project includes a leading role in an untitled Eric Balfour TV comedy series. According to IMDB, Masterson will play the character Jordy Pants in the show, which will follows a band's attempt to make it big in the music industry. “Fifty Shades of Grey” is currently scheduled to premiere in theaters on Aug. 1, 2014.
