In the all-new episode of “Will & Grace” Season 9, “Parks & Recreation” alum Nick Offerman is joining the foursome gang in a not-so-conventional way. Playing a character, who is also named Nick, Offerman will be entangled in a three-way romance with the titular characters of the show.

In “Will & Grace” Season 9, episode 8, appropriately titled “Friends & Lover,” Eric McCormack’s Will and Debra Messing’s Grace are going to receive some shocking news from a guy, who apparently is romancing the both of them. “Were you not away that I was dating both of you?” Nick asks the best friends in a sneak peek at Thursday night’s installment.

Ahead of the show’s return, Offerman took to Instagram to reveal that he is “deeply chuffed” to make a guest appearance on “the greatest television program I have come across.“ He even used the hashtag #polyamorous to label the romance that would take place between his character and BFFs Will and Grace.

Based on the promo clip for episode 8, Will and Grace will try to come to terms with the fact that they are dating the same man. One scene shows Nick raising a glass of wine to his newfound loves, who are then forced to brush off the revelation and play cool with it.

Elsewhere, Sean Hayes’ Jack and Megan Mullaly’s Karen will fall victim to the LSS effect of a commercial jingle. The two will be addicted to the catchy melody that they will manifest peculiar behavior whenever they cannot hear the jingle. In the sneak peek, the twosome are seen slapping each other inside an elevator in an attempt to get rid of their strange addiction.

Jack and Karen’s addiction to the commercial jingle later on force them to seek medical treatment. But is there really professional help for a condition that involves a song getting stuck in someone’s head? Also, what’s the catchy commercial jingle that will mess up with Jack and Karen’s heads? The answers will unfold in the all-new episode of the “Will & Grace” reboot.

“Will & Grace” Season 9, episode 8, “Friends & Lover,” is set to air on Jan. 4, Thursday, at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
