After two years of waiting, Miranda Lambert fans will hear new music from the country star.

Lambert announced the news via a video posted on Twitter. The singer shared that the new album is titled “The Weight of These Wings” and will come out Nov. 18.

Will her new music speak about her heartbreak over ending her marriage to Blake Shelton? While Lambert did not say directly, she did start writing songs for the album after they broke things off.

Speaking of the project, Lambert told Rolling Stone Country: “I know I’ve kind of been ‘not around,’ but I’ve been around. I’m getting really close, and hopefully by mid-summer we’ll have some new music people can hear.”

The “Vice” singer also said that moving from Oklahoma to Nashville has helped her a lot in terms of creating more music. She added that since all of her friends from the area are songwriters, they just constantly write songs whether intentional or as a result of hanging out.

Fans of the singer are definitely ecstatic about the news. Many of them took to Twitter to share their excitement.

“My soul has been waiting for this moment,” one said.

Another said: “Thank you Miranda. You are just so awesome and BA. It’s gonna be hard to wait though!”

The news of the album comes shortly after Lambert canceled her three slated shows in Texas for her Keeper of the Flame tour. The singer will no longer play in Corpus Christi, Austin and San Antonio.

The shows -- originally slated for Sept. 15, 16 and 17 -- were canceled because Lambert needed to go on vocal rest, according to reports. The country star’s website says all tickets will be refunded, but it has not been announced whether the shows will be re-scheduled once Lambert has recuperated.

Lambert has not said anything about the cancellation of the shows.
