Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks may be heading toward a divorce after Nida is sentenced Tuesday for conspiracy to commit fraud. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star was accused of stealing people’s identities to apply for loans and create more than 40 fraudulent bank accounts and he pleaded guilty in May.

An investigation into the operation began in February 2012 and he was subsequently charged by federal authorities with bank fraud and identity theft.

Since being charged, Parks has stayed by his side, but Nida faces a possible 30 years in prison. In addition to his possible jail time, Parks, 41, got in trouble with his wife after accusations he engaged in inappropriate conduct with fellow "RHOA" cast member Kenya Moore. He has denied their relationship was inappropriate, but there were numerous text messages between the two of which Parks had been unaware.

In addition, Nida spoke to Sister 2 Sister in April, and he did not sound too sure of his marriage.

“I really admired everything that she did as a woman. I think that we have lost sight of the true picture, which is that we did take an oath to God and we did build a family and a brand. Whatever has come of this reality fiasco, we have had two beautiful children, and at the end of the day, I only wish her the best."

But when asked about the state of their marriage, Nida sounded unsure.

“I can’t say if it’s going to last. But I hope that it does. … I definitely love her. I’ve grown to love her more," he said.
