Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic gave the London crowd what they wanted on Sunday -- a spirited Gentleman's Wimbledon Final.

Djokovic was trying to beat Nadal for the first time in a Grand Slam event and take home his first Wimbledon title, while Nadal was chasing his eleventh Grand Slam and trying to repeat has Wimbledon champion.

Djokovic held off surprise semi-finalist Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Friday, while Nadal came off a hard-fought victory over fan-favorite Scottish star Andy Murray.

The two most heralded men's tennis players in the world combined for only 27 unforced errors, and 12 aces.

Djokovic approached the net 26 times, which was a bid disparity compared to Nadal, who approached only nine times.
