"Witches of East End" executive producer Maggie Friedman wasn’t kidding when she told International Business Times that episode 9 of Season 2 would be the show's “best episode yet.” According to the promo video for “Smells Like King Spirit,” fans will witness a shocking death during the Sunday, Sept. 14, episode.
The synopsis for episode 9 teases all sorts of drama, from Tarkoff seeking revenge against Frederick, to Freya confronting her brother about the lies he's been telling. Even Wendy and Tommy will face their demons when they learn just how dangerous their relationship really is. But if that doesn't get your heart racing, then this certainly will: Friedman revealed to IBTimes just why "Smells Like King Spirit" is her favorite episode of the Lifetime series, by far.
“There’s a crazy twist that happens in episode 9 that fans will not believe, so they should really tune in to watch. Seriously, episode 9 is nuts. I freaked out watching it and I knew what was coming!” she dished to us. So, what could this nutty scene possibly be? Well, we have a feeling it has to do with the rumors of an East End death. But which character -- or should we say characters -- will be meeting their untimely demise?
At this point, any character could be on the chopping block. There’s Frederick and Tarkoff, who just can’t help but wring each other’s necks; Wendy, who has one life left of her original nine; and Killian, who we heard will find himself in a big, magical brawl in episode 9.
“Let’s just say there may or may not be a big warlock battle coming up where we get to see Killian really wield some hardcore power,” Friedman revealed. “It’s a really amazing story line, really amazing sequence.”
But according to reports, none of the characters mentioned above will be finding themselves six feet under. In fact, the characters who do end up dead will truly surprise you. (WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD -- Do NOT continue reading unless you want to hear the latest death rumor!) Rumor has it that Freya and Ingrid will be murdered by the end of episode 9. But don’t worry! According to reports, the dynamic duo will be brought back to life in episode 10, “The Fall of the House of Beauchamp,” thanks to Aunt Wendy!
The only question is: Who killed Freya and Ingrid? And why? Our money is on Tarkoff or Frederick's possessed girlfriend! Sound off in the comments section below with your theories, and don’t forget to tune in to “Witches of East End” Sunday, Sept. 14, at 9 p.m. EDT when episode 9 airs.
