A video game ruined their married life. Well, almost.

When Alyse Baddley couldn't get her husband Kyle Baddley's attention away from the video game Modern Warfare, she became frustrated and decided to auction him off on a Web site. Alyse told her mother-in-law that she was going to sell your son on Craigslist.

Alyse (21) and Kyle got married in 2010. Kyle recently returned from Afghanistan after suffering a back injury. He told ABC 4 News that gaming was one way that he stayed connected to his military friends.

But Alyse, who couldn't understand his sentiments, placed a classified ad on the Craigslist's Utah page, asking for an exchange of husbands. I am selling my 22-year-old husband. He enjoys eating and playing video games all day. Easy to maintain, just feed and water every 3-5 hours. If an acceptable replacement was offered will trade, read the advertisement.

It turned out there was quite a market for the product. Alyse was surprised by the wave of responses.

Responses ranged from offers of temporary exchange to concerned inquiries regarding the couple's marriage. However, a majority of them were quite funny.

The ad was all just a joke, and I love my husband and he loves me, she said. I didn't ever think anyone would reply to this but it's gotten so much attention, which is kind of cool, she added.

Kyle's father Scott Baddley cleared the air, declaring that all was well with the couple who was heading down south for Thanksgiving.
