The Xiaomi MI 5 release date is drawing near. The alleged smartphone has been found listed on a Chinese retailer site revealing its entire specifications.

According to Android Headlines, the full specs of Xiaomi Mi 5 was found listed on GearBest. The product page of the Xiaomi flagship is no longer accessible.

The listing revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will arrive with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display. It will carry support for 565 ppi pixel density. It will be fueled by Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4 GB of RAM.

The listing revealed an internal storage of 16 GB. However, other sources have predicted that the base model may arrive with 32 GB of storage. The smartphone is also likely to be available in a storage variant of 64 GB. The Mi 5 may not feature a microSD expansion slot.

The rear camera of the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be of 16-megapixel and it will be accompanied by dual-Led flash. The front will be housing a selfie shooter of 8-megapixel. Other sources have suggested the smartphone will come with a front-facing camera of 13-megapixel.

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow flavored with MIUI 7.0 UI will be available on the Mi 5. It will carry support for two SIMs and LTE connectivity. It will be packed with a massive battery of 3600 mAh capacity.

The Xiaomi MI 5 rumors are suggesting that the smartphone will be available in two variants. Even though the Chinese manufacturer has not disclosed the confirmed monikers for the two models, the rumor mill claims that the one featuring full HD display, lower storage and 3 GB of RAM will be launched as Xiaomi Mi 5 and the one featuring Quad HD display, higher storage and 4 GB of RAM will arrive as Xiaomi Mi 5.

Speculations indicate that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be announced on Jan. 21. The smartphone is expected to be available for purchase by Feb. 8. Other sources suggest that the Mi 5 will be unveiled on Feb. 20 and will be available for buying from the very same day or Feb. 21.
