The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue will celebrate its 50th anniversary by placing three different models on its 2014 cover.

The cover, which was unveiled on Thursday night’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” features models Nina Agdal, Chrissy Teigen and Lily Aldridge. Clad only in bikini bottoms, the three lovely ladies stand in knee-deep water and smile for the camera.

Aside from being the 50th anniversary of SI’s Swimsuit Issue, Aldridge is the second “rookie” model to be featured on the front page. But Aldridge is hardly a rookie to the industry; she’s one of the highest-earning models in the world, and she moonlights as a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated’s Swim Daily, Aldridge described the 2014 Swimsuit Issue cover shoot. “We had been on the island for a few days by that point and had had so much fun together. That day we went to a smaller island where the light was beautiful, and we each took turns posing in the middle,” she said.

Traditionally, the cover is reserved for a single model—Kate Upton earned the honor in 2012 and 2013—but Teigen says that she, Aldridge and Agdal were happy to share the spotlight. “We really, honestly liked each other,” she told Swim Daily. “Of course you are going to hear that from anybody who does a group shot, but this time it’s true. The connection was natural and the mood was fun.”

However, Teigen did admit the one aspect of this year’s cover took precedence over all others. “If I were to pick . . . I would have to say our butts won it,” she said.

The 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue hits newsstands everywhere on Feb. 18.
