The introduction of the character created new questions and forced us to reflect on previous scenarios that were never fully explained.

2. Why are Mary and Alex not in jail?

In the series finale, an officer revealed that they caught Mary Drake (Andrea Parker) and viewers saw Alex taken into custody, so how did they end up in the basement of Mona’s (Janel Parrish) doll shop at the end of episode 20? “I thought that was Wilden. Wasn’t that Wilden? ... I’ve got to look it up, but I’ll get back to you on that,” she replied when Bustle asked about the mystery man.
