“90 Day Fiance” star Pedro Jimeno has filed for divorce from Chantel Everett after nearly five years of marriage.

According to court documents, which Jimeno first filed on May 27, the two reportedly separated in April. He described their marriage as “irretrievably broken.”

Jimeno followed by filing an emergency motion accusing Everett of stealing $257,000 from their joint business account five days before they separated.

He claimed Everett transferred the money into a joint bank account under her and her sister’s name. The Dominican Republic native attempted to resolve the financial issue but failed to reach a solution.

In Jimeno's request, the TLC star is asking the judge to order Everett to transfer the money into a joint account until they settle their divorce.

Although a judge denied Jimeno’s request for an emergency hearing, the issue is expected to be resolved in court at a later date. Everett responded by filing a divorce petition along with a mutual restraining order.

"90 Day Fiance" fans met the couple in 2016 during Season 4 of the TLC series. They went on to appear in several spinoffs before landing their own reality show, “The Family Chantel.”

Over the years, fans have watched as Jimeno and Everett struggled to maintain a stable relationship while trying to get along with each other’s families.

In 2020, the couple appeared hesitant when asked about starting a family amid their rocky relationship. “Chantel needs to finish school [first]. Maybe she wants to get a master’s degree,” Jimeno told Us Weekly at the time.

“I don’t want to do the same mistakes that my father did to me. That’s my main thing. I want my child to have all they need, like a school, food, clothes, toys. … It’s very important to me. I want to be the best father in the world.”

According to court documents, Jimeno is seeking an equal division of all the marital property.
