With dozens of popular songs he has written and his pop-rock band Maroon 5 being one of the most successful bands in the world, it's not surprising that most people are big fans of Adam Levine, who, aside from being the frontman, is famous for being an actor and a host.

As per reports, the Grammy-winning singer makes millions through his music career alone. His current net worth stands at $160 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth. How did he become this rich? Here's the answer to that and a few more details about Levine's career and life.

Levine began his musical career in 1994 with the band Kara's Flowers, of which he was the lead vocalist and lead guitarist. After the commercial failure of their only album, "The Fourth World," the group was reformed in 2001 as Maroon 5, with James Valentine replacing Levine as lead guitarist.

The band's debut album, "Songs About Jane," released in 2002, was certified triple platinum after its release. The album sold 10 million copies and was named the tenth best-selling album of 2004.

Since its debut, Maroon 5 has released seven studio albums, three live albums, two compilation albums, one remix album, six extended plays, 33 singles and seven promotional singles.

The band's popular songs include "Harder to Breathe," "She Will Be Loved," "Sunday Morning," "Makes Me Wonder," "Moves Like Jagger," "Sugar" and more.

In 2011, Levine's popularity further grew after becoming a judge and coach on the popular reality television talent show "The Voice."

In 2013, The Hollywood Reporter estimated that Levine was being paid $12 million for each season of the show.

Levine left "The Voice" in May 2019, after sixteen seasons and eight years.

Levine has appeared on "Saturday Night Live" several times and in several films, including the musical-romance drama film "Begin Again," "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping," "Fun Mom Dinner" and "The Clapper."

Levine, who married supermodel Behati Prinsloo in 2014, currently faces criticism for allegedly having an affair with a woman named Sumner Stroh.

Stroh revealed the allegations via TikTok one week after Prinsloo confirmed that she and the singer were expecting baby No. 3.

Stroh also showed a message of Levine asking her if he could name his baby after her. The "Girls Like You" singer has yet to respond to the accusations.
