Adam22's Store Employee Held Up By Gunman In Video, Man Arrested

A man was arrested after he filmed himself walking into Adam22’s Los Angeles store and pulling out gun on one of the employees.

In the video, posted on Instagram on Thursday evening, the unidentified man could be seen entering the store and ordering the employee to call Adam22.

"Get the f--- on the ground, shut the f---, shut the f--- up, shut the f--- up. Call Adam right now, I don't want no money. Call Adam right now. I don't want no money,” the gunman shouts.

He then gets the employee to enter a room, potentially to call Adam22 as instructed by him.

In a series of tweets, Adam22 confirmed the man’s arrest and also said the gunman had reached out to him several times for collaboration.

“Some dude just ran up in the store with a gun looking for me. The cops have the whole block closed off with helicopters everywhere,” the “ No Jumper” podcast creator tweeted.

“Cops found him. Congrats, you wanted clout and now you going to jail,” he said in another tweet.

“Why the hell did he film this. dude has DMed me dozens of times trying to "collab" and s---, I guess this was his last ditch effort to get some attention,” he tweeted.

The incident comes a few days after a man pulled out a gun on Adam22 during a live stream. The video of the incident shows the gunman violently interrupting the live-streaming and pointing the gun at the host. Though people at first thought it was staged, Adam22 confirmed that his life was actually in danger. The suspect, 24-year-old David Tran, was arrested Thursday and held on $100,000 bail, TMZ reported.

Adam22, born Adam John Grandmaison, is an internet personality who hosts a pop culture and hip hop-oriented podcast “No Jumper.” He has interviewed several rappers including Lil Yachty, Lil Pump and 6ix9ine. He is dating vlogger and YouTube personality Lena Nersesian.
