Amal Clooney was in her sartorial best as she stunned in a green wrap dress at a Google Zeitgeist event at the Grove Hotel in London Tuesday. The human rights lawyer spoke about her work at the intimate gatherings of top global thinkers and leaders. The 38-year-old attorney, who is currently representing award-winning Azerbaijan reporter Khadija Ismayilova at the European Court of Human Rights, spoke about her client.

The latter, who was jailed 19 months ago, is an outspoken critic of the government. The British-Lebanese barrister also talked about former President of the Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed, who was jailed for 13 years under anti-terror law. Though, Amal spoke at the event in her official capacity, she looked stunning in her green dress.

Her knee-length dress featured short sleeves, V neckline, wrap detailing on both the sides and a flared skirt. Amal accessorized with oversize drop earrings from Akong London. The Amsterdam earrings have c rystal motif studs with classic white pearl and navy blue accent thread detail.

The statement earrings featured Swarovski crystals and pearls, with crystal beads. The British-Lebanese barrister, who is married to Hollywood actor George Clooney, wore deep red lipstick, a hint of mascara and eyeliner and pink blush. Amal’s long brunette tresses were kept in a side part and styled into loose curls in her signature blowout.

The attorney added height to her already tall and slender frame in a pair of pointed toe pumps. Meanwhile, in another development, Amal’s client Nasheed has been granted political refugee status in the U.K. “Given the slide towards authoritarianism in the Maldives, myself and other opposition politicians feel we have no choice but to work in exile - for now,” said a statement issued by Nasheed’s office Monday.

Amal made a wave at the 69th Cannes Film Festival red carpet earlier this month at the premiere of her husband’s latest film “Money Monster” directed by Jodie Foster. The stylish lawyer chose to stun in a pale yellow silk one shoulder custom gown by Atelier Versace, as she posed with the entire crew of the movie including actress Julia Roberts.
