Amal Clooney met British Prime Minister David Cameron on Wednesday as part of her efforts to free Mohamed Nasheed, the jailed former president of the Maldives. She looked business-like, dressed in an elegant white skirt suit. The ensemble looked perfectly tailored for her, according to Express UK.

At the Commons summit in Britain's Parliament, the wife of Hollywood actor George Clooney watched the Prime Minister’s Questions (PMQs), then she had some questions of her own for him. Joined by Nasheed’s wife, Laila Ali Abdulla, the barrister asked Cameron whether there was anything more the prime minister could do to secure the former president’s release. Nasheed, the first democratically elected leader of the Indian Ocean island state, was ousted in what supporters claim was a coup in 2012.

He was sentenced in March this year to 13 years in prison after being found guilty of terrorism. A Downing Street source said that Cameron has already written to the Maldives government about freeing political prisoners. Amal Clooney is representing Nasheed in his fight against what he says is a politically motivated and arbitrary detention.

British government officials said Clooney's meeting with Cameron was arranged at the last minute, after Clooney and Ali Abdulla watched PMQs from a gallery overlooking the Commons chamber in Parliament. They left the session about 15 minutes before the end. There was a clash between Cameron and interim Labour leader Harriet Harman and Scottish National Party (SNP) Westminster leader Angus Robertson.

The previous evening, Clooney teamed her asymmetrical one-shoulder jumpsuit with a pair of shiny nude stilettos and accompanied fashion designer Stella McCartney. The skintight black lace outfit was designed by McCartney. It flattered the Lebanon-born Clooney’s svelte figure and showed off her toned and tanned arms.

She carried a silky mustard yellow clutch bag and accessorized with some tasselled statement earrings. Her shiny dark tresses were styled into bouncy curls and she applied some bright red lipstick and dusky pink blusher. Meanwhile, Stella, daughter of Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, went for a casual chic look.

Clooney’s onesie was previously seen on Naomi Watts. Watts skipped the bold accessories, wearing the number with sleek black pumps and a matching oversize clutch. The actress wore the ensemble at Stella McCartney’s Resort 2014 presentation in London last year.
