Amazon Slashes 40mm, 44mm Apple Watch Series 6 Prices

Apple launched the new Apple Watch Series 6 models only this September, but consumers can already get the new wearables for discounted prices if they buy from Amazon.

Interested parties will be able to get both the 40mm and 44mm GPS-only Apple Watch Series 6 models — which start at $399 and $429, respectively — at lower prices via Amazon. The slashed prices come way after the retailer offered massive Prime Day discounts.

Here's a quick look at what Apple Watch model consumers will be getting for less and how much they will need to spend for it:

• Apple Watch Series 6 (GPS, 40mm)

Amazon is selling the 40mm GPS-only version of the Apple Watch Series 6 in gray aluminum case and black sport band for only $374.98. This means buyers will be able to save $24.02 upon checkout.

What's more, the retailer also offers an additional $50 less upon approval of the Amazon Visa Rewards Card. This brings the price down to a total of $324.98.

• Apple Watch Series 6 (GPS, 44mm)

Amazon is also selling the 44mm GPS-only version of the Apple Watch Series 6 in gray aluminum case and black sport band for only $400.

The retailer is also offering an additional $50 less upon approval of the Amazon Visa Rewards Card. This brings the price down to a total of $364.99.

Specs and Features

Regardless of the model consumers buy, they can expect to get the best specs and features that Apple currently offers in a health-centric smartwatch.

The new Apple Watch Series 6 models offer the same health monitoring features offered by the Series 4 and Series 5 models and adds a few new features such as blood oxygen monitoring, an Always-On altimeter that's useful for navigation, a brighter Always-On display compared to the one on the Series 5 and improved performance via a new S6 chip.

Amazon didn't provide details as to when the discounted rates will expire. That said, interested parties are advised to head to the retailer's website as soon as possible to take advantage of the lower prices.
