Grace Vanderwaal recently held a Q&A session via her Twitter account.

On Saturday, the 13-year-old professional singer told her fans that she will be answering some of their questions posted on Twitter via her Instagram account. The question and answer portion was done as part of the upcoming Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMA) that will be held on April 29. Vanderwaal is nominated in “The Freshest” or Best New Artist category and is up against Jordan Fisher, Noah Cyrus, Jon Bellion and Julia Michaels.

Unfortunately, Vanderwaal was only able to post a few fan questions that she received and her answers to them. After the session ended, she shared a photo of herself cuddling with her pug, Frankie, via Twitter.

Vanderwaal won in “America’s Got Talent” Season 11 last year and brought home the $1 million grand prize. She also signed under Simon Cowell’s music label, SyCo Records and performed a series of shows in Las Vegas. After her big win in August 2016, Vanderwaal released her EP, “Perfectly Imperfect,” in December. The EP consisted of five original songs, namely, “I Don’t Know My Name,” “Clay,” “Light the Sky,” “Gossip Girl” and “Beautiful Thing.”

Months after the release of “Perfectly Imperfect,” Vanderwaal told Bustle that she will soon be releasing her first full-length album. The singer hopes to have the entire album ready a year after winning in the hit NBC reality TV competition. “It’s kind of a work in progress. It’s not even close to done, but it’s coming up, and I’m so excited about it. It’s gonna be the fun, cool, awesome one. I’m really excited… I want to put a little more into this one, a little more depth,” she said.
