Grace Vanderwaal’s EP, “Perfectly Imperfect,” made it to Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart.

Just over a week after it was released on iTunes, “Perfectly Imperfect” managed to land on the 9th place. The album’s nationwide ranking is based on radio play, as well as video streaming and paid digital downloads, according to Lohud.

“Perfectly Imperfect” features four songs that were sung live by Vanderwaal during her stint on “America’s Got Talent” Season 11. This includes “I Don’t Know My Name,” “Light the Sky,” “Beautiful Thing” and “Clay.” A fifth song titled “Gossip Girl” is also part of the album.

“Perfectly Imperfect” also made it to iTunes’ Top 10, where the album ranked No. 6.

After winning $1 million on Sept. 14, Vanderwaal signed with Simon Cowell’s music label, Syco Records on Sept. 22. In October, the 12-year-old Suffern native started her voice lessons. She immediately recorded her songs for her EP so it could be released within the year. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Vanderwaal said that it was important for her to release the album immediately while her fans are still excited to hear what she has in store for them.

Meanwhile, “America’s Got Talent” Season 12 has started holding auditions in different parts of the United States. After a successful run in Cleveland, the producers of the hit NBC reality TV show will go on a short holiday break. On Jan. 7, auditions will kick off at the Prime F. Osborn Convention Center in Jacksonville. This also serves as the only audition site in Florida for Season 12. Whoever will make it through the first round of auditions will receive a call or an email from the staff of the show to head to Los Angeles.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 will premiere on NBC sometime in May 2017.
