The “America’s Got Talent” Season 12 contestants have certainly learned a thing or two since joining the hit NBC reality TV competition.

A few days before the semifinals, some of the contestants shared one important lesson learned from their fellow contestants on the show. Dog act singer Evie Clair learned how to do cartwheels from some of the contestants who did a similar thing during their stint in “America’s Got Talent” Season 12.

Comedian Preacher Lawson, who has been doing standup comedy for the past eight years, joked about learning how to sing since he joined the show.

Singer Johnny Manuel, who received guest judge Seal’s golden buzzer in the judge cuts round, has learned how to do magic. When he snapped his finger, he disappeared from the screen. Singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer has learned how to dance like a robot, thanks to her good friend and fellow contestant Merrick Hanna.

All six contestants except for Aditya have made it to the semfinals, and they will be some of the first that will once again take the Dolby Theater stage. Since there are a total of 10 contestants performing on Tuesday night, Sara & Hero, Clair, Lawson, Manuel, Farmer and Hanna will be joined by roller skaters Billy & Emily England, singers Yoli Mayor and Mandy Harvey and magician Eric Jones.

Following their performances, only half of the acts will make it to the grand finals. But this won’t happen until after the next 11 semifinalists have performed live for America’s vote two weeks from now.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
