Earlier this week, both OnePlus 6 and One Plus 6T devices received the latest Android 10 updates. The new build, for the most part, was smooth fixing some issues, according to OnePlus users. But, it seems that instead of fixing the old bug, the Android 10 update is causing OnePlus 6 and One Plus 6T device to experience issues in some of its essential features.

Keyboard Lag

On Reddit, some OnePlus 6 and One Plus 6T users are complaining that they had noticed an increased input lag when they tried to type on the GBoard. The issue does not appear to persist on other kinds of keyboards, which could mean this is simply a Gboard issue. Furthermore, users are complaining that the keyboard stops working when the device is locked while inside an app, and the only solution is to terminate the app and restart.

Wifi Connection Issues

A Reddit user reports that its device does not connect to a WiFi network at home following the installation of the Android 10 update on One Plus 6T. All standard troubleshooting measures have already been made, like restarting the device, forgetting the network, changing mac, and clearing the cache but to no avail. The Reddit user claims that he was able to solve the issue by changing the password type to WPA/WPA 2 in the router settings.

Fingerprint Scanner Animation

Another issue that users complain about the Android 10 update is that it is causing the animation of the fingerprint scanner to linger even if the OnePlus 6 and One Plus 6T is already unlocked. While this issue may not be as major as the earlier mentioned problems, it certainly an annoying once that causes inconvenience.
