Anna Faris has revealed tying the knot with 51-year-old cinematographer Michael Barrett after eloping in Washington State.

Speaking with guest Gail Simmons on "Anna Faris Is Unqualified" Monday, the 44-year-old actress said, "I think we've spent the last year in a place of reflection, in a place of kind of prioritization to some degree, a place of anxiety, a place of like, whatever, assessment. But I'm looking around, just so, just my fiancé's right... he's now my husband."

She went on to apologize to her husband for blurting out the news about their wedding just like that. However, according to her, it was difficult to keep referring to Barrett as her fiancé.

"Yes, we eloped...I'm sorry. I didn't know... I'm sorry, honey. I just blurted that out, but it just feels [like] I can't say fiancé anymore," she added. "Thank you, it was awesome. It feels great. It was at a local courthouse up in Washington state. It was great."

The "I Give It a Year" star also recalled an incident in which she had accidentally told her aunt about getting hitched.

"We saw my family and it kind of slipped out the same way," Faris said. "My aunt asked me, 'You are going to be a stepmom. How are you feeling about that?' and I said, 'Well, actually, I am a stepmom as of like 4 days ago, but it was great.'"

"Everything about it just felt right, so anyway, thanks guys... It was great. It was, San Juan island up in Washington state... which is just the most magical place on earth," she told her listeners.

Over the weekend, Barrett was spotted wearing a wedding ring in Santa Monica, California, which sparked wedding rumors.

Faris was married to actor Ben Indra from 2004 to 2008. The actress then tied the knot with the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt in 2009 and they finalized their divorce in 2018. Faris and Pratt have an 8-year-old son, Jack Pratt.

Faris and Barrett began dating in 2017. In 2018, Faris told Dax Shepard on his "Armchair Expert" podcast that she was not sure about getting married once again.

"I need to figure out what the purpose is," she told Shepard at that time. "Is it safety for your children? Is it convention? Is it so other people respect your relationship more? For me, I'm just not quite sure where it fits."

On the work front, the actress will be seen in a comedy movie "Summer Madness," which is currently under pre-production.
