Wide receiver Antonio Brown will finally be eligible to play in the NFL again after Week 8, following a slew of incidents off the field that resulted in a suspension.

Once one of the best players in the sport, the former All-Pro is given a good chance to land with a Super Bowl contender for the remainder of the 2020 season. The Seattle Seahawks are odds-on favorites to sign Brown at -175, via BetOnline. Seattle quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Geno Smith have been in touch with Brown about joining the team, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Wednesday.

There have been no official talks between Brown and the organization, according to Schefter. Other teams are reportedly interested in the 32-year-old.

Seattle enters Week 7 as one of three teams that have a perfect record. Wilson is the favorite to win the MVP award.

The Baltimore Ravens are considered to be Brown’s second-most likely destination. The defending AFC North champions have +600 odds to sign Brown.

Brown’s odds of joining the Green Bay Packers are listed at +750. Green Bay is followed by the San Francisco 49ers (+900), Tennessee Titans (+1000), New England Patriots (+1000), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+1400) and New Orleans Saints (+1400) in the Antonio Brown Sweepstakes.

Brown hasn’t played since Week 2 of last season, when he recorded four catches for 56 yards and a touchdown in his only game with the Patriots. New England released Brown soon after he was accused of sexual assault by his former trainer.

There was speculation during the offseason that Brown might be reunited with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay. Brady and Brown seemingly formed a quick bond during their brief time together in New England.

Brown worked out for the Saints late last year, though the two sides never reached an agreement.

Brown was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection with the Pittsburgh Steelers. From 2013-2018, Brown totaled more than 100 receptions and 1,283 yards in every season.
