A software specialist recently found some files related to other Apple exclusive wireless headphones in the iOS update. The new PowerBeats Pro is said to be coming to Apple devices soon. Here’s what we know about the PowerBeats Pro.

According to 9to5Mac’s Guilherme Rambo, the iOS 12.2 update has some new animations and images related to the PowerBeats Pro. This new product is from Beats Electronics, which has long been a part of Apple’s subsidiaries. At best, Apple smartphone users will soon have two exclusive choices for their device, namely the PowerBeats Pro and the Apple-made AirPods.

The new PowerBeats Pro is the wireless headphone version of the PowerBeats earplugs series. The PowerBeats headphones are known to have replaceable ear tips, greater water and sweat resistance and sturdy clips that help the earpiece latch on better to the user’s head. Overall, the PowerBeats seems like a solid pick if you don’t want to use the Apple’s AirPods with your iPhone.

So far, Apple’s AirPods are just speculated to receive improved water resistance which would allow owners to use the pods underwater. As for the new AirPods later this year, it’ll receive some new battery life upgrades which allows the AirPods to last longer.

9to5Mac also noted that the PowerBeats will have similar hardware with the H1 chip which allows it to have the faster connection to iOS devices and long battery life.

For now, we’ll have to wait for both Beats Electronics and Apple to reveal more about these device release dates and details. So far, Apple’s next generation AirPods 2 was confirmed during the recent Steve Jobs Theater event this March and is expected to be released later this year. While its release has been confirmed, its full features are yet to be fully discussed.

Meanwhile, the PowerBeats Pro is just a speculation, according to data found by a software specialist. Its release date and full details are yet to be fully known as Beats Electronics has yet to discuss this product.
