Speculations are currently circulating about a new Apple iPhone 11 feature intended to boost its battery life. Apparently, the iPhone 11 will come with an upgraded charger and a “Wireless PowerShare” feature. Here’s what we know about this.

According to AppleInsider, new speculations claimed that Apple is going to launch a “Wireless PowerShare” feature. The new feature will reportedly allow the iPhone 11 to pass its battery charge to other Apple peripherals such as Apple Watch and AirPods, providing an extra battery boost to these wireless devices. This new feature was pioneered by Samsung with the Galaxy S10.

The new feature will reportedly not charge the AirPods directly but the charging case that comes along with the wireless headphones. The charging case works like a wireless powerbank for the AirPods as the wireless headphones get charged up if the case itself has some energy inside it.

To go along with this new feature, the iPhone 11 charger is said to still have the trademark Apple Lightning cables with the 18W USB-C power adapter. This means that the iPhone 11 would have some fast charging features.

Potentially, the iPhone 11 could be a battery life powerhouse with these new features.

Since the company is known for innovating on their new features, Apple is sure to deliver a better version if they do end up making a Wireless PowerShare device.

However, it’s best to take this news with a grain of salt as it came from speculation. The news is said to be insider info from partner companies that make Apple products. However, none of these sources were named, which makes the info extremely dubious.

Meanwhile, Apple has just concluded their recent Apple Loop event this March which announced not only their new services improvements, but also the tech giant's new devices.

Aside from the Wireless PowerShare speculations, the next iPhone is expected to have wireless charging capacity through the AirPower mat and is also slated to receive a new patented technology for its FaceID systems.

For now, we’ll have to wait for more info about these new features for the iPhone 11.
