Aramco-Sumitomo Saudi joint venture doubles loss in Q2
RIYADH - Saudi-based Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co said on Monday it had a net loss of 236 million riyals ($62.93 million) in the second quarter.
The joint-venture of Saudi Aramco and Japan's Sumitomo Chemical reported a net loss of 115 million riyals in the same period a year earlier, it said in a statement on the bourse website.
State-controlled Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical each have a 37.5-percent stake in PetroRabigh with the rest publicly held.
