Are Kate Middleton, Prince Harry's Girlfriend Friends? Meghan Markle Gifts Duchess Of Cambridge Dream Journal

Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle gifted Kate Middleton a dream journal during their meeting in London last week. According to reports, the "Suits" actress was "so happy" to be meeting her boyfriend's family, including niece Princess Charlotte.
"They got on fabulously. I'm sure Harry had been looking forward to introducing his girlfriend," a source told Us Weekly. The meeting between Middleton and Markle went “really well,” the Sun reported, adding that Markle chose to gift the mother of two a leather-bound “dream diary” as a birthday present. With the gift, Markle is reportedly encouraging Middleton to track her reveries. Middleton celebrated her 35th birthday in a low-key event with close friends and family on Jan. 9.
“Kate was really looking forward to meeting Meghan and she knew how important it was to Harry,” a source told the Sun. “Obviously Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, died when he was very young so Kate really fulfills that older sister/maternal role. They are very close and he really values her opinion on girlfriends.”
Prince Harry and Markle were first rumored to be dating in October, and the romance was confirmed in November when Kensington Palace released a statement asking the public to stop harassing the actress.
After meeting Middleton last week, Prince Harry and Markle spent some quality time together, "chilling and enjoying lazy days" in Prince Harry's Nottingham cottage home at Kensington Palace, according to Us Weekly.
Late last week, a royal source told E! Online that Prince Harry is “truly in love” with Markle and things are “very serious” between them, adding that an “engagement announcement sometime this year” will not be a surprise for anyone.
