"Vanderpump Rules" stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright may have just tied the knot, but the couple is already looking towards the next chapter in their lives: kids.

“We cannot wait to start a family,” Cartwright, 30, told People in this week’s issue. “I cannot wait to be a mom, and Jax cannot wait to be a dad. He talks about it all the time. I think he’s getting more excited than I am even, which I never thought would be possible.”

Taylor, whose real name is Jason Cauchi, added that it was his own father who inspired the 40-year-old to want children of his own soon.

“My dad was always there for me,” he said. “My dad worked extremely hard. We lived in the suburbs, but my dad had to work very hard for us to have everything. That’s my goal. Work as hard as I can and build a few businesses here so I can spend as much time as I can with my kids because I want to be a part of everything that they do.”

And, he's doing just that. Taylor recently announced a line of cocktail mixers, Just Add X, to be released sometime this year. In addition to the mixers, the couple is also working on Meemaw's Beer Cheese, which the Kentucky native hoped would be in stores this summer.

This isn't the first time the couple has spoken openly about their plans for children. When the reality stars were still planning their wedding they had babies on the brain.

“I’m ready for the next step. I’m ready to have kids," Taylor admitted to Us Weekly in April. "I’m ready to be part of the PTA, soccer dad, soccer mom, gymnastics coach, whatever. That’s my next job.”
