Ariana Grande just professed her love for her rapper boyfriend Mac Miller via social media. This comes after the singer-actress revealed to Cosmopolitan why she and the “Donald Trump” hitmaker did not hit it off upon meeting each other for the first time four years ago.

On Wednesday, Grande, 23, took to Instagram to share a black and white photo of her beau, whose real name is Malcolm James McCormick but is also known in the industry by his record producer pseudonym Larry Fisherman. The snap shows Miller performing on stage and feeling the beat to one of his songs. In the caption, Grande used emojis to convey her mood while looking at her lover from afar.

The “Scream Queens” actress’ post is very timely because she just revealed to Cosmopolitan some details about her romantic relationship with her 25-year-old boyfriend. Grande even proudly uploaded on Instagram a couple of snaps from the issue showing her on the cover.

Speaking with the magazine, Grande talked about why she thinks she and Miller did not become boyfriend-girlfriend right after meeting each other when she was 19. “I met him when I was 19. We have loved and adored and respected each other since the beginning, since before we even met, just because we were fans of each other’s talent,” she candidly said. “We weren’t ready at all, though, to be together. It’s just timing. We both needed to experience some things, but the love has been there the whole time.”

Grande and Miller first collaborated on “The Way,” which was part of the singer’s 2013 “Yours Truly” album. Though they have been hanging out with the same circle of friends since then, they clearly didn’t develop romantic feelings for each other right away. Grande notably dated Big Sean for eight months, then became intimate with backup dancer Ricky Alvarez until July 2016, according to Us Weekly.

The former Nickelodeon actress and the “Fight the Feeling” rapper first ignited dating rumors when they were spotted kissing at Japanese restaurant Katu-Ya in Los Angeles’ Encino neighborhood in August last year. A few days later, their relationship became public when they attended the MTV Video Music Awards together.

Despite being infatuated with Miller, Grande admitted that she is not one to really look for a partner just to make her feel complete. “I‘ve never looked at love as something that I need to complete me. I would like to be complete on my own first and fall in love with somebody who is also complete … I want to feel a hundred percent myself so that I can love that person better.”
