Following the successful broadcast of “Hairspray Live!,” Ariana Grande is now more focused on celebrating the holidays and spreading good cheer with her family and friends. Speaking of family, the “Side to Side” songstress just shared a family photo on social media, and it has since received a lot of attention due to Grande’s comical antics.

On Saturday, Grande took to Instagram to share a snap of what could pass as a family picture. In the photo, the singer-actress is seen kissing her mom on the cheek, while a very tall and quite familiar man snuggles with them for the photo-op. To trick her fans, Grande captioned the snap saying she’s glad she finally got their family Christmas photo taken that night. Nevertheless, she quickly spoiled the joke by confirming that the man in the photo is not her real dad, but “X-Men” actor Hugh Jackman.

Jackman also reiterated Grande’s joke by updating his Instagram account with a picture of him and the 23-year-old cuddling together as though they were indeed father and daughter. The 48-year-old “Logan” actor praised Grande for being “awesomely talented” in the caption and thanked the “Problem” singer for making him the unofficial “cool dad.”

Grande and Jackman got the chance to meet each other on Friday when the latter stopped by backstage at Z100’s “jingle Ball” at Madison Square Garden to express his admiration of the young singer. Just Jared has learned that the Oscar-nominated actor even paid a visit to Grande’s dressing room where they took the photographs they shared on social media.

As for Grande’s real father, Edward Butera, he also took some time off from work to show his support for his daughter during “Hairspray Live!” and “Jingle Ball.” Grande even shared a photo on Instagram of her resting her head on her father’s shoulder as they engage in a heartwarming embrace. Grande expressed in the caption that she was moved to tears by her father’s support.
