Authorities have arrested a man who attempted to abduct a barista through a drive-thru window in Auburn, Washington, early Monday.

In a video posted shortly after the incident, the Auburn Police Department sought help to identify the suspect who tried to forcefully pull the barista while she was handing the customer his change.

"After overwhelming support from the community, APD has arrested a suspect in this case," the police wrote.

The incident happened at around 5 a.m. at a coffee stand located in the 2200 block of Auburn Way in Auburn, according to the police, as reported by New York Post.

The suspect attempted to grab the female barista with a zip tie loop, the police said.

"The suspect seen here attempted to drag the victim through the window using a looped zip tie device. The victim was able to fight off the attacker."

The police also identified the tattoo on the left arm of the suspect that spelled "Chevrolet."

Kolby Crossley, an officer at the Auburn Police Department, told Fox News that the video is concerning and alarming.

"By the video, you can tell he put some thought into this plan that he was conducting, y'know, obviously, he had the zip tie, he grabbed the arm. So it's very concerning, it's very alarming, and it's something that we're trying to figure out quick so we can get this guy into custody, so he's not a threat to the community," Crossley said.

The officer said that the victim suffered minor cuts to her arm.

The police department reportedly received numerous tips leading to the suspect, who was arrested the following day on a kidnapping charge.

"Multiple people called in saying they knew the person and were able to give a name," Crossley told ABC News. "Obviously, we had such great evidence."

An investigation is ongoing, according to Crossley. The suspect is scheduled to have his first court appearance on Wednesday, which will prompt the police to release the suspect's details.
