Aurora Teagarden is coming back to Hallmark Movies and Mysteries with a new adventure.

In “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Heist and Seek,” Candace Cameron Bure returns as the titular sleuth when another crime unfolds and she’s called in to solve it. According to a synopsis for the film, a crown is stolen during a gala and the Real Murders Club has to find out who is responsible.

“The theft of a rare Elizabethan artifact on display at the Lawrenceton Library’s annual fundraising event leads to capital crimes,” the synopsis reads. “When Aurora Teagarden begins her unorthodox investigation and soon discovers not one—but two—murders committed by someone who would do anything to possess ‘Leicester’s Gift,’ the Tudor crown on loan from the Seattle Museum of History.”

Directed by Peter Benson and written by Teena Booth and Jim Head, “Heist and Seek” also stars Niall Matter, who returns as Nick, Marilu Henner as Aida, and Benson, as Arthur Smith. Other members of the cast include Michelle Harrison (Kelly Stevens), Catherine Lough Haggquist (Terry Sternholz), Elfina Luk (Miya Quan), Brendon Zub (Eric Hanson), Oliver Rice (James Reading), Sean Depner (Brett Talbot), Lisa Marie DiGiacinto (Callie Reyes), Jay Hindle (David Reyes), Dylan Sloane (Phillip Pifer) and Cole Vigue (Davis Mettle).

“Heist and Seek” is the 13th film in the franchise, following the earlier movies, “A Bone To Pick,” “Real Murders,” “The Julius House,” “Three Bedrooms, One Corpse,” “Dead Over Heels,” “A Bundle of Trouble,” “Last Scene Alive,” “Reap What You Sew,” “The Disappearing Game,” “A Game of Cat and Mouse,” “An Inheritance To Die For” and “A Very Foul Play.”

Bure is best known for her role as DJ Tanner-Fuller on both “Full House” and “Fuller House,” but she is also a staple in Hallmark’s film universe, especially around the holidays. She has previously starred in “Christmas Under Wraps,” “A Christmas Detour,” “Journey Back to Christmas,” “Switched for Christmas,” “A Shoe Addict’s Christmas,” and “Christmas Town.”

“Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Heist And Seek” premieres Sunday, May 17 at 9 p.m. EDT.
