It’s been a big week for “Avengers” fans as the release date for the highly anticipated movie nears. Ever since accepting the Generation Award on MTV, Robert Downey Jr. and the rest of the cast have been dropping clips of the film.

The latest comes from the film’s red carpet premiere live stream. CinemaBlend reported if you were smart enough to watch the red carpet event in Los Angeles live online, you were treated to the action-packed clip below.

In it, Ultron (James Spader) and the Maximoff twins, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron-Taylor Johnson), are having a chat. The twins seem to be working with the villain at this point in the movie. Although we know they’ll eventually join the super-powered team of heroes, in this clip they appear to be very Team Ultron.

As the robotic villain explains why he doesn’t want to be compared to Tony Stark, Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Captain America (Chris Evans) interrupt their chat. Unfortunately, they only exchange banter and insults before Ultron uses a never-before-seen magnetic pull to draw Iron Man away from his cohorts. Robotic drones and the Maximoffs attack the other two heroes. Oh, and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) are there too, but they’re of little consequence to the scene.

As ScreenRant notes, many early reactions to the film have highlighted the quick-witted nature of the artificial intelligence robot. In previous trailers and teasers, Spader’s maniacal voice has only been used to set up the impending doom that earth’s mightiest heroes may face. However, this clip manages to pack in a few laughs as Ultron and Stark exchange quick-witted jabs.

One thing worth mentioning is that this clip actually confirms what many fans have already put together. Ultron’s plan has to do with harvesting vibranium, the same metal used to make Captain America’s nearly indestructible shield. Fans figured this out a long time ago when it was revealed the Avengers would visit the fictional African nation of Wakanda. In the comics, this is where the metal is mined. In addition, the first trailer’s inclusion of the Black Panther villain Ulysses Klaw (Andy Serkis) was taken as confirmation since that character has deep ties to the black market trade of vibranium.
