“Bachelor in Paradise” cast member Carly Waddell is now a mother. The television personality welcomed her first bundle of joy with husband Evan Bass.

In an exclusive statement to People on Thursday, Bass revealed that his wife has given birth to a healthy baby girl named Isabella Evelyn Bass. According to the 35-year-old, the brith of his first daughter went without any problem. “It was a perfect birth, no problems at all. We were supposed to induce her today but Carly’s water broke 15 minutes before our alarm went off so Bella is setting her own birthday,” Bass said.

Bass also revealed that his 32-year-old wife is recovering well and that they were so happy to finally welcome their first baby together. “Carly is recovering well and the baby has had her eyes open for hours. I cried a lot during the birth! We are smitten and cannot stop kissing, cuddling and adoring her,” he gushed.

While this is the first child for Waddell, this is already the fourth for Bass, who has three sons — named Ensley, Nathan and Liam— from a previous relationship. Waddell and Bass first met on the third season of ABC’s “Bachelor in Paradise.” They got engaged in the finale in September 2016 and tied the knot last June.

After televising their wedding on the fourth run of the reality show with “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison as the officiator, Waddell revealed last August that she’s expecting. She took to Instagram to announce the big news at the time saying, “SECRET IS OUT GUYS!!!! Evan and I are SO EXCITED to announce we are HAVING A BABY!!! What a beautiful, wonderful, wild year it has been and the adventure continues Feb 2018!”

In an interview with Us Weekly at the time, Bass shared that he and Waddell found out that they were expecting just days after they tied the knot. “We were in Mexico and it was actually a few days after our wedding and it was a little Mexican town called Salulita.” He then went on to reveal that his wife took a pregnancy test and that was the time they found out about the pregnancy.

Weeks later the couple joyfully disclosed the gender of their baby with the help of Bass’ three sons. “This is our professional Gender Reveal photo! IT’S A GIRL!!!! I’m not the only girl anymore! Woo Hoo!!!!” Waddell captioned a photo she took with her family at the Gender Reveal Party.
