A Barcelona youngster is reportedly opting to leave Camp Nou for Real Madrid due to uncertainty in his future with the club.

Several transfer rumors have been swirling around La Liga these past few weeks. One of the clubs reportedly keen on making massive transfer moves is Barcelona. The Catalan club is in the process of rebuilding their roster ahead of the summer, this could mean significant changes in the designation of the players’ roles. But before things could go wrong for Barcelona youngster Xavier Mbuyamba, his agent is already looking for better opportunities outside Camp Nou.

Mbuyamba’s agent, Carlos Barrios, recently told Voetbal International (via Besoccer.com) that his client has decided to put an end to his Barcelona career. According to Barrios, the 18-year-old defender has become vocal about his plan to part ways with Barca due to some uncertainties about his future.

"There's huge uncertainty. Elections are just around the corner. If you're seeing that even Ansu Fati could go out on loan, then why won't you be sent out on loan as well?” Barrios said of Mbuyamba’s situation in Barcelona.

Barrios pointed out that Mbuyamba is not sure about what his role will be in Barcelona given the club’s plan to massively rebuild. At this point, Barrios revealed that there are other clubs that consider Mbuyamba’s potential seriously and one of them is Barca’s Spanish side rivals Real Madrid.

"Real Madrid are one of those interested. All these teams are taking his growth seriously, but it would be a delicate change," Barrios revealed.

Mbuyamba has captured the attention of many European clubs across the top five leagues. Barrios claims that aside from Real Madrid, Juventus, Inter Milan and Premier League contenders Chelsea are now monitoring his client’s situation.

If possible, this will not be the first time a promising Barcelona youngster will shine in Real Madrid. It will be remembered that former La Masia player Takefusa Kubo decided to take his talents to Real when he had the opportunity. The “Japanese Lionel Messi” even vowed to become a future star of Los Blancos.

“After turning 18, I had the chance to choose a team and I chose Real Madrid because of their interest in me. I’m very grateful. And now I’m a big Madrid fan. [My dream is] to be a great player and to do great things at Real Madrid. Also for Japan. It all depends on me and I will have a place at Real Madrid,” Kubo vowed.
