As Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY) continues to be challenged by dismal sales, the home goods retailer has introduced another round of store closings. As many as 40 locations have already reportedly closed or will close by the first half of 2020.

Bed Bath & Beyond spokeswoman Jessica Joyce, told USA Today that the stores “no longer meet the standards our customers expect from us.”

The company previously announced that it would be closing 60 stores across all its stores. Bed Bath & Beyond also operates the World Market, buybuy Baby, Christmas Tree Shops, Harmon brands.

The news of the store closures comes after CEO Mark Tritton restructured the company’s executive team. As many as six executives departed the company, which Tritton said was “the first in a number of important steps we're taking.

Bed Bath & Beyond also recently announced a sale-leaseback deal with Oak Street Real Estate Capital valued at over $250 million.
