Ben Affleck and Jennifer recently reunited for their son Samuel at the latter’s friend’s school party.

Photos of Affleck and Garner show the former couple engaging in deep conversation. Affleck looks intently into Garner’s eyes and they laugh hysterically at one point.

The “Batman v Superman” star and the “13 Going On 30” actress was also spotted chatting and laughing with some of Samuel’s schoolmates. They also carried Samuel at one point.

Affleck and Garner’s outing came in the heels of the actor’s recent interviews where he opened up about the biggest regret of his life. Affleck said that he regrets his divorce from Garner.

The “Goodwill Hunting” star also told People that he will forever be connected with Garner because of their three children. Affleck also said that he will always be respectful and grateful to his ex-wife.

While speaking with the Associated Press, Affleck admitted how he broke down in tears while on the set of “The Way Back” after he filmed a scene about a broken marriage. Affleck suggested that the emotional scene reminded him of his marriage to Garner.

“Sometimes just feeling those feelings again purges them a little bit and frees you a little bit. This movie was hard to make. Sometimes it was painful. And sometimes I was embarrassed. And sometimes I couldn’t believe my life had any similarity to this,” he said.

Meanwhile, even though it seems that Affleck is still caught up in his failed marriage to Garner, the latter seems to have completely moved on from her ex-husband. Garner has been dating John Miller for over a year now.

Following Affleck’s interviews, rumors swirled that Miller is worried that Garner has once again become the actor’s focus.

“John is empathetic to Ben’s struggles with sobriety, but he worries about how Jennifer has once again become her ex-husband’s focus. The spotlight on Jennifer is intense and Ben needs to consider her feelings before speaking so publicly,” the source told Us Weekly.
