Ben Affleck's children are "proud" of him for going viral as a meme.

On Sunday, Affleck, 49, graced the red carpet with girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, 52, at the premiere of his new movie "The Tender Bar" at the Chinese Theater in Los Angeles.

The "Justice League" star looked dapper in his Ralph Lauren Purple Label three-piece suit, while his lady love looked stunning in a sheer sky blue dress. The lovebirds packed on the PDA on the red carpet, with Affleck kissing Lopez's cheek.

During a chat with Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier on the red carpet, Affleck was asked about recently becoming a meme while sitting courtside with Lopez at a Los Angeles Lakers game. The actor joked that his children think he's achieved the "highest form of success" after their meme went viral.

"I am a big sports guy, I'm not a big meme guy, I don't follow the memes. My kids like the memes. My kids think the highest form of success in life is to become a meme, so in that sense, they have to be proud of me despite outward appearances," he told ET.

Affleck shares three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, — Violet, 16, Seraphina, 12, and son Samuel, 9.

When asked for his response to the online memes, Affleck told the outlet that he has no plans to engage. "If I got in the business of commenting on all the memes on the Internet, it would force me to be witty, and I just can’t. I just don’t have that to bring, so I'm just gonna let it speak for itself," he explained.

The meme in question comprised a series of photos of Affleck and Lopez talking to each other during the basketball game. The first photo showed the singer saying something to Affleck, and the second featured the actor appearing to whisper his response to Lopez's ear. The third photo showed Lopez watching the game as Affleck smirks next to her.

Affleck, however, declined to comment on whether he would celebrate the birthday of Lopez's mom, Guadalupe Rodriguez, who turned 76 Sunday.

Affleck and Rodríguez have a good relationship, and she even appeared in his ad for WynnBET, a mobile sports betting and iGaming app owned by Wynn Resorts and run by online gaming division Wynn Interactive.

Meanwhile, Lopez shared a sweet birthday tribute for her mom on Instagram. She uploaded a video of them from a previous performance and thanked her mom for being patient and supportive of her.

"Thank you so much for being so patient with me, for always making me believe that I could do anything that I wanted to do," Lopez said in the video. "You really, really made me believe that. And I have been able to do so many things and fulfill so many of my dreams and so many more to go. And that seed that you planted, really, really made me who I am today."

"The Tender Bar" will hit New York and Los Angeles theaters Friday and will be released in theaters nationwide on Dec. 22. It will be released globally on Amazon Prime Video on Jan. 7.
