Directions

Make sure you have all your ingredients within arm’s reach so it’s easier for you to assemble everything.

Step 1: Combine all the ingredients of the pizza sauce with ½ cup warm water. Set aside and let the flavors marinate. You can always freeze extra pizza sauce.

Step 2: To make the crust, mix about 2 cups of flour with yeast, sugar and salt. Add water and oil gradually and blend well. Add the remaining flour and mix until you form a soft, sticky dough.

Step 3: Knead for 4 minutes on a floured surface until the dough is stretchy and elastic. Add more flour as needed.

Step 4: Divide dough in half. Roll each ball of dough flat to fit your pizza pan or to fit a pizza paddle. Get a pizza paddle here.

Step 5: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. If you’re using an outdoor pizza oven or wood-fired oven, get a fire going. Get your very own outdoor wood-fired oven here.

Step 6: Bake your pizza for 18 to 20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and brown. Rotate pizza every few minutes for the best results.
