Blackpink member Rosé is officially the new face of French luxury fashion house Yves Saint Laurent.

Following the release of the K-pop girl group’s latest single “How You Like That,” one of Blackpink’s band members, Rosé, was announced as the new global face of Saint Laurent.

The 23-year-old singer, whose full name is Park Chae Young, was featured on Saint Laurent’s official Instagram on Monday (June 29), wearing a black lace mini-dress from creative director Anthony Vaccarello's 2020 collection. Rosé is also prominently featured on YSL’s website.

"I still can’t believe that I’m a global ambassador, representing a brand that I've thought was really cool for a long time," Rosé told Elle Korea, according to a Blackpink fansite.

"It's an honor. I also got close to creative director Antony Vaccarello, and I'm learning a lot from his creativity, expertise, and humanity. It's amazing to be able to work with such a wonderful person," she continued.

Prior to the announcement, the New Zealand-born Blackpink member had already made a front-row debut at YSL’s spring fashion show last year. She also attended the luxury house's Paris Fashion Week show in February, as per W Magazine.

Meanwhile, Rosé is not the only Blackpink member to have scored a major fashion endorsement. Her bandmate, Thai-native rapper-singer Lisa, was also got the opportunity to be one of the models in Celine’s latest campaign shot by director Hedi Slimane.

Two of the other Blackpink members, meanwhile, don’t fall short. Jennie, who is also New Zealand-raised, is Chanel Beauty’s brand ambassador. The same goes for Jisoo, who is Dior Beauty’s official endorser.

As a band, Blackpink recently made headlines after dropping their comeback single “How You Like That” on June 26, which saw the South Korean act breaking YouTube records once more.

According to Billboard, the music video set an all-time record for the biggest YouTube premiere, racking up 1.66 million peak concurrents. The single’s clip also had the biggest 24-hour music video debut of all time and has amassed a whopping 86.3 million views since its long-awaited release.

Blackpink’s new single will appear in their upcoming debut studio album, which is reportedly slated for release in September, according to YG Entertainment/Interscope.

“How You Like That” has officially ended the K-pop girl group’s one-year musical hiatus since their 2019 smash hit “Kill This Love EP” bagged the 24th spot on the Billboard 200.
