Blake Shelton celebrated Fourth of July with his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, and her family. It was time for a double celebration because Stefani’s dad’s birthday also falls on the same day.

Shelton has a great relationship with Stefani’s dad Dennis James Stefani. The country singer kissed his girlfriend’s dad on the cheek, and that picture has surfaced online, People reported.

This is not the first time that Shelton has kissed Gwen’s father on the cheek. The “Hollaback Girl” singer shared a picture of her boyfriend kissing her dad on the cheek on Father’s Day.

Gwen also shared a video of her dad playing the guitar and encouraging her 5-year-old son Apollo Bowie Flynn to sing “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.” She wished her father a happy birthday in the post, and called him the “best dad /poppie in the world.”

Shelton and Gwen got patriotic during their 4th of July celebrations. The pop singer shared a picture of her boyfriend standing next to a U.S. flag.

“Happy 4th of July muffins,” Gwen captioned the post. The singer also confirmed that she was heading back to Las Vegas to continue her Just A Girl residency. She recently shared a few behind-the-scenes pictures of her rehearsing for the upcoming weekend show. The pop star wrote that it feels like it was yesterday that she started rehearsing for her first Las Vegas performance. She called her work on the stage show as a dream come true.

Gwen and Shelton have been dating for a while now, and they will be celebrating their four-year anniversary in November. Shelton previously reflected on the relationship in an interview with People, and he said that time has gone by so quickly that it feels like a “blur.”

Shelton will get to spend more time with his girlfriend, as she is returning as a coach on “The Voice” TV series. Gwen has confirmed that she will be a part of Season 17 of the popular show.
