They were all stunned when she first announced she was engaged to Thomas at all, but as Hope continues to fall for his manipulations, she could wind up shocking everyone even more as she announces an unexpected change of plans on the Tuesday, July 16 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Hope (Annika Noelle) shockingly agreed to marry Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) even though it’s clear to everyone that she doesn’t love him, and has remained firm that she’s doing the right thing on the CBS soap. However, as her mother and ex-husband, in particular, continue trying to process that news and expressing concern about Thomas as a whole, Hope once again seemed to fall for one of her fiancé's manipulations—one that was aimed at playing towards her concern for his son, Douglas (Henry joseph Samiri) and his need for a mother.

Now, after deciding to move up the wedding following Douglas being scared by a “ghost” nightmare his father orchestrated, Hope will begin to share the news that the wedding is coming quickly. However, when she goes to let Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) know, the news will be something that Liam has a hard time hearing.

“Hope announces an update to her plans to marry Thomas, which is difficult for Liam,” spoilers reveal.

Naturally, since Liam has been wary of Thomas from the beginning, especially as he’s come off seeming to be obsessed with Hope since she annulled her previous marriage, he isn’t going to take the news well and could try urging his former wife once again to take things slower. She will likely refuse to listen however since she feels it is right for her to serve as Douglas’ mother and for Liam to be with Steffy and the girls, meaning that if Liam wants to put a stop to things, he might have to do so alone.

Of course, he won’t be the only one to have a less than positive reaction, as Thomas shares the news with other members of the family—and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) continues to express her own concerns as well.

“Emotions run high as Thomas and Hope plan the wedding ceremony,” spoilers state.

However, if no one can come up with any way to prove why Hope needs to genuinely think twice about her plans, it may be too late to save her.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
