She has been granted the ability to finally and truly move on with Liam now that Bill has decided to stop pursuing her, but as Steffy shares her plans for a future with members of her family, Liam will be reacting to unexpected news which changes everything on the Thursday, July 5 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) had previously postponed plans to marry Liam (Scott Clifton) again after Bill (Don Diamont) threatened her with blackmail that he would send Taylor (Hunter Tylo) to prison if she married his son on the CBS soap. Steffy was trying to figure out a solution but was spared from that at the last minute when Bill paid her another surprise visit and instead told her he had decided to give up his fight for her, and promised he wouldn’t stand in her way any longer. Now, Steffy has been waiting to share the news with Liam that she doesn’t want to wait any longer, and in the meantime, she will reveal her plans to her grandfather, Eric (John McCook), when he comes to visit baby Kelly.

“Liam and I finally have everything we’ve ever wanted,” she says in a preview clip for the episode.

However, as she prepares to celebrate a life together with Liam again, Hope (Annika Noelle) has now informed him of the unexpected result from their brief time together as an engaged couple. She informed him during the Fourth of July fireworks that she was pregnant, meaning Liam would now also have a family with her too, and he is still processing the news.

His reaction may not be what Hope expects, however, as he seems to indicate that this can’t be real or true. If he realizes he’s upsetting her, or that she thinks he feels like this is a trap, he will quickly work to reassure her that he knows he has a responsibility to this child as well.

“It takes two Hope,” he says in the clip. “I’m certainly not blaming you for any of this.”

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
