Angelina Jolie, 44, and Brad Pitt, 55, survived several controversies in their 12-year relationship. From cheating allegations, health scare to the way they raise their six children together, the A-list couple maintained a strong front amidst the never-ending issues thrown at them. This is, also, one of the reasons why many fans were shocked when the pair announced their decision to split in August 2016.

Though both camps cited irreconcilable differences as the main cause of the breakup, there were reports saying that Brad and Maddox’s strained relationship pushed Angelina to initiate the divorce process. The “Troy” actor and their eldest son, allegedly, got into a loud argument while traveling on a private plane to Los Angeles. Three years since the breakup announcement, Brad is, reportedly, begging Angelina to help him see Maddox.

An unnamed tipster told Us Weekly that the “Fight Club” actor talked to the actress about visiting their son, who is currently attending college in South Korea. The same source claimed that Angelina Jolie wants Maddox to rekindle his healthy relationship with Brad Pitt. In fact, the “Maleficent” actress has, allegedly, been exerting efforts to heal the bad blood between her son and ex-husband.

However, the “Ad Stra” star is, reportedly, not convinced that Angelina wants him to reconcile with their son since her "efforts" have not improved the situation as of yet. Regardless, Brad remains positive that Maddox will reach out to him in the future. The entertainment news publication, previously, shared that Maddox does not consider himself as Brad’s son anymore after their alleged altercation.

Meanwhile, other reports suggested that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have not finalized their divorce yet because “they have too much money.” The Blast reported the pair is, currently, working on how to divide their cash and properties, specifically the French winery and castle they purchased in 2011.

The outlet added Brad filed documents asking the L.A. County Courts to let them use a private judge for the ongoing discussions about their vast fortune. The court, reportedly, has no issue with the “Seven” actor’s request so long as they pay for the private judge’s time and services themselves.

Aside from Maddox, 18, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt also share children Knox, 11, Vivienne, 11, Shiloh, 13, Zahara, 14, and Pax, 15.
