The conversation surrounding Britney Spears' conservatorship has returned to the public eye in recent weeks amid the ongoing Free Britney movement, and now the pop star's mom, Lynne Spears, is requesting more information about her daughter's finances as well.

In newly-filed court documents obtained by The Blast, Lynne has asked to be included in all decisions surrounding the "Toxic" singer's finances. Specifically, she has indicated that she would like to know more about the trust that holds the majority of Britney's assets.

On Monday, documents were filed by Lynne's lawyer that indicated their client wanted to be included as an "interested person" in matters pertaining to the SJB Revocable Trust, which was created in 2004. At that time, the trust was created to "hold and manage her material financial assets during her lifetime, and provide distribution of those assets upon her death." Additionally, it was put into place to provide financial security for her children, Jayden James Federline and Sean Federline.

Bank accounts, vehicles, savings accounts, and a variety of material things are included within the trust, as decided upon by Britney herself. However, in 2008, she was removed as the trustee and court-appointed temporary successors were put into place.

As a result of the new court documents, Lynne seemingly wants to be directly involved in any changes that occur surrounding the "Crossroads" actress' fortune, which is worth $59M. She also filed a request with the Los Angeles County Courts to have "special notice" of "all matters" surrounding the aforementioned trust. The new move indicates the first time in years that the trust has been addressed.

This is not the only discussion that has surrounded Britney's conservatorship and freedom over the past year. Prior to Lynne taking the new step, it has also been said that Britney has been unable to make other life decisions as well as a result of the restrictions, including being able to have children with her long-term boyfriend, Sam Asghari.
