It also set a new all-time record for YouTube video views in the first 24 hours, getting more than 108.2 million views in its first day.

BTS has recreated some of their classic "family portraits" as they kicked off the countdown for their eighth anniversary. Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, RM and V have been celebrating their anniversary with an event called the "BTS Festa."

This year, the K-pop group would host an online fan meet-up. BTS was also expected to share new videos and some clips of their most recent live performances.

The celebration opened on June 2 with the release of 24 new group photos. Devoted supporters of the group were quick to notice that some of the snaps looked very familiar, with all the BTS members re-staging classic poses with colorful outfits and backdrops.
