BTS is unstoppable on the Billboard charts once again! The seven-member South Korean boy band is setting new records with its latest single, "Butter."

"Butter" marked the K-pop group's second release it performed in English, and it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. Billboard's official Twitter handle shared a tweet featuring the group’s artists, who earned their first four Hot 100 No. 1s in less than a year, joining the likes of The Beatles, Justin Timberlake, and Mariah Carey.

"Every act to earn their first four #Hot100 No. 1s in less than a year," Billboard tweeted along with seven names: The Beatles, The Supremes, Justin Timberlake, The Jackson 5, BTS, Mariah Carey, and Paula Abdul.

"Butter" dropped on May 21 and within a week it had more than 32 million streams in America. By end of the week, Nielsen Music/MRC Data reported that 242,800 units of the latest single were sold.

"Butter" also received over 18.1 million radio airplay audience impressions. This is not the first time when BTS has broken the world record.

Previously, BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook successfully made new records, including that of the biggest premiere in YouTube history.

Within 24 hours of its release, BTS' “Butter” received over 108.2 million views, surpassing the group’s own 101.1 million view record for "Dynamite" in the first 24 hours.

At the time of writing this article, "Butter" had received more than 284 million views.

Since the BTS' single released on Spotify, it garnered 11,042,335 global streams within 24 hours. It broke Spotify's record of most-streamed track in a single day, beating "I Don't Care" by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber, which received 64,946 streams.

Besides Spotify, "Butter" also became the most-streamed track in the first week on Amazon Music. BTS had also become the most-streamed group on Spotify by replacing Coldplay with 16.3 billion streams in April.

The boy band debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment company. The group began touring for the first time in 2014 and performed ten shows. The BTS tour was titled, "The Red Bullet Tour."

Since then, the band went on to perform on many tours such as, "Wake Up: Open Your Eyes Japan Tour," "The Wings Tour," and "Love Yourself World Tour."
