BTS is expected to dominate music charts anew with the upcoming release of its new CD single that will feature the boy band's global hit "Butter" and a fresh track created in collaboration with Ed Sheeran.

In a tweet Friday, Big Hit Music shared the tracklist for the CD version of "Butter." The lineup is said to include "Permission to Dance," which was penned by Sheeran, along with Jenna Andrews, Steve Mac, and Johnny McDaid. The CD is set for release on July 9.

"Butter" CD will include four tracks: "Butter," which was previously released as a digital single, "Permission to Dance" and instrumental versions of the two songs.

"Permission to Dance" was produced by Stephen Kirk, Steve Mac, and Jenna Andrews.

An hour before midnight on July 2, Big Hit Music also shared the "Butter" CD single cover in a separate tweet.

Korean entertainment website Soompi previously reported Big Hit Music's announcement of a CD single of "Butter," which quickly climbed the top of Billboard Hot 100 charts shortly after its May 21 release and dominated the charts for two consecutive weeks.

According to Billboard, by June 17, "Butter" garnered 12.5 million U.S. streams and sold 111,400 downloads. It also attracted 25.8 million radio airplay audience impressions which climbed by 6% by June 20.

Billboard also confirmed that "Butter" topped the charts for four weeks just before the end of June. It surpassed the popularity of BTS' previous global hit "Dynamite," which rocked the charts for three weeks following its release in August last year.

RM, the 26-year-old leader of BTS, earlier described "Butter" as "very energetic" and "very summery." He also said it had a "dynamic performance" in the June cover story of Rolling Stone.

Earlier this week, a set of BTS "Dynamite"-inspired Funko Pop figures was unveiled. This is the group's second collaboration with the brand, following the previous "DNA"-inspired pop figures.

Colorful portrayals of RM, Jin, SUGA, Jimin, V, Jungkook, and J-Hope in 3 3/4-inch vinyl figures have been made available by Funko for its Pop! Rocks collection, which features American music industry hitmakers including Prince and K.I.S.S.

BTS also joined Louis Vuitton's roster of brand ambassadors recently, which is a great addition to their growing list of partnerships. So far, the group has had tie-ups with brands like Samsung, McDonald's, and Casetify.
